I loved The Buddha Made Me Do It. I laughed and cried with Marla during her metaphysical and woo woo adventures. But The Magic Seeker struck differently. Marla has this amazing talent for writing about some of the most powerful experiences she has faced in her quest for magic.I really felt like I got to know the real Marla in The Magic Seeker -- Marla the Witch. I appreciated how she told her stories from a very human perspective. There was no excessive spiritual bypassing or pretense involved. I found it incredibly honest and relatable.
