Three light wizards and three dark wizards once lived on the island of Mystica. One of the dark wizards cast a spell to trap the other wizards. As a result of the spell going awry, all the wizards were trapped in stone. Midnight is released when a curious boy finds one of these stones. Midnight gathers an army and prepares for war. Mystica is in the dreams of Miranda, an average college girl. Her dreams lead her to travel through Mystica to find Lightning, the one wizard that can defeat Midnight. Follow Miranda through the Plains, Ice Caves, the Forest of the Lost, and the Dragon’s Lair. Can Miranda find and release Lightning and save Mystica?

I received this book from the Author for an honest review. Michelle has crafted a beautiful world to bring young readers into the realm of Fantasy. It is well written for the young reader, while not seeming childish. The worlds of Fantasy are great places for the young reader to develop a love of reading as an escape from the pressures of real life. Hers is a world of wondrous creatures and beings. A great read for any youngster!

Michelle is a married working mother of two fine young men (her children). She lives in Wisconsin. When not writing, she enjoys reading especially science fiction/fantasy and classics.
Her favorite authors include Shakespeare, Mark Twain, Margaret Weiss, and Colleen Houck.
She also enjoys doing painting and crafts, and spending time with her family. She enjoys going for walks, and swimming. She has been known to jump in Lake Michigan with no life jacket!
