Don J. Metivier is a highly decorated United States Air Force Master Sergeant (Retired) and a graduate of the Senior Noncommissioned Officer Academy, Maxwell Air Force Base in Alabama. He holds and Associates of Arts degree, is the author of Poems from the Mind of a Madman and O Circo and a member of the Association of Rhode Island Authors.
