Hard to stop reading this fast paced thriller featuring gruesome killings bearing the marks of a satanic cult. Father Rafferty/Detective Raff is again embroiled in mysterious murders in a setting populated with complex, psychotic characters and lush settings. Against a backdrop of Raff's convivial circle of police colleagues, fellow priests, and his lawyer daughter, a tale of revenge killings unfolds. This book is almost a parody of classic murder mystery elements, but the author also injects topics of social urgency such as LGBT discrimination and gun control. A very spellbinding book!
