Central Arizona College Memories
Students, faculty, and staff from Central Arizona College, a formerly “rural” community college, share learning and working experiences—and personal reflections—from the 70s, 80s, and 90s era. The book is primarily built around first person narratives—memories—but also includes references to “historical” documents, newspaper articles, and “snippets” from period college resources. Several tributes to iconic college employees add to this celebration of CAC. The reader will learn so much about the community college “movement” which began in the early 60s and continues to flourish today. As a bonus, there are many references to technology and work environment processes which will bring a smile to the face of anyone who remembers working in an office during that time period.
What readers say about the book🧐
As a students from the 90s and prof. for the past 25 years, I really enjoyed this book. Especially the stories about those that I did not know.
