About the Author →

Annabel Schiøtz

I live in Norway with my husband. I have eight grandchildren, one dog and a liking for trolls and dragons. On my walks I take pictures of troll-like trees and bushes, and these have turned into stories for my grandchildren.

I have since published them and they are now available on Amazon.

They are about seven trolls of different colours, a grandmother (me, known as Besti), my grandchildren, Lula the dog, a dragon, a rainbow coloured duck and various other characters. There are five books so far, plus a collection.

The books are also all available in Norwegian.

What would you do if somebody thought you were a caramel and wanted to eat you? Well, for Tortoise the answer was simple. Read about her and her friends in The Animals’ Picnic, rhyming stories for children.
